The book was to have been launched in person by Senator Mehreen Faruqi in the beautiful Enid Cook room above Surry Hills Library, with wine and food aplenty. Sadly, due to Sydney covid restrictions, this is no longer possible and the event will now be held online.
Happily, this means you can attend from wherever you live, in your pyjamas!
There will be book discounts and give-aways, and (as this launch was to have doubled as my July 1 birthday party) virtual cake! Plus, scintillating speeches from poets Saba Vasefi, Les Wicks, Ali Whitelock and Tim Heffernan.
